Anatomical studies from George Bridgeman’s ‘Constructive Anatomy’. I then applied it to some figures from imagination.

This was done for an character design contest 2 weeks ago on Conceptart.org. I didn’t make the final deadline to actually enter this design into the contest but I enjoyed the learning experiance.
I wanted to do something based off of late Victorian style. It would be great if authentic 1850-1890s fashion would come back in style for the mainstream; complicated undergarments and all.
I found out about Inktober almost halfway through. Shame on me.
Inktober is an initiative set up by artist Jake Parker in 2009 to improve his own drawing skills which has grown into an international phenomena or artists posting cool things and sharing it on various social media outlets. During the month of October, participants are supposed to make a pen and ink drawing every day. Here is my contribution so far.
